The Lace Minerva is a non-corseted, backless floor-length gown, complete with a sensual silhouette. Inspired by the sheer bridal look from the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring-Summer 2024 catwalk, the delicate lace lends a fresh look to the classic Minerva dress. The style features a twisted asymmetric neckline and softly falling eco lace that gathers into pleats at the center back – which then extends to an elegant train. For 2025, the Lace Minerva is available in a delicate Eco lace fabric, offered in both Ivory and Black colourways.
The layering of the lace is expertly crafted. Two outer layers sweep the floor whilst a shorter inner-layer functions as a sheer “mini dress” lining. The lace is cut so that the pattern does not overlap (i.e. the floral part of the pattern on top will fall mostly over an emptier part of the pattern underneath) to create more subtle coverage, while maintaining the beauty of its design.
