To prevent glass-based pearls from being scratched, they should be kept separately from other jewellery - ideally in a cloth bag or wrapped in a soft cloth.
CARE OF STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver is a precious metal and will tarnish over time. To prevent oxidisation and revive the item’s lustre, clean items with a soft, dry polishing cloth.
STORAGE
Be sure to keep your product away from direct sources of heat, sunlight or humid environments. When not in use, store the item in the dust bag provided with your purchase, and keep in a dry, well-ventilated place.
LEATHER
General wear and cleaning may cause shrinkage or colour variations. To preserve the quality of leather pieces, please do not wash with any household cleaning fluids.

Our leather products are unique, so any tonal variation, marks or veins are natural features. Protect leather products from water, grease, perfumes or cosmetics. Any materials with a patent finish should avoid contact with other materials, especially darker colours, which can absorb other colours and remain stained.
FABRICS
Please ensure to avoid contact with rough surfaces, to prevent damage like scratches or abrasions. Please do not wash or dry clean.

MAINTENANCE
Take particular care of bags with beads, embroidery or metallic details. To clean the material, use a soft cloth. Please also take specific care of metallic accessories. Be careful not to scratch or rub your product against any abrasive surfaces. Never use solvent, wash or dry clean. Please also avoid contact with hand creams, hand sanitizer or perfumes.
FOOTWEAR
- The leather used to make Vivienne Westwood Shoes may feature natural marks and variations. These characteristics add to the beauty and uniqueness of each product and should not be considered as defects.
- Some irregularities of print may occur from pair to pair. This should be considered a characteristic of the product.
- Shoes made in fabric and delicate materials should be worn with extra care.
- Please avoid keeping your shoes in direct heat or sunlight for prolonged periods of time, as it may cause the colour to fade.
- Please try to keep your shoes out of prolonged or heavy rainfall. If they do get very wet, remove any residual water immediately with a clean cloth, pack loosely with paper and allow the leather to dry naturally, away from a direct heat source.
- Please wash each garment separately – and do not use bleach.
- Avoid over-exposure to direct sunlight or heat.
- Avoid tumble drying – and follow the temperature instructions strictly.
- Please follow the ironing technique, as written on the label. Iron the garments inside out, or with a cloth.
- Please protect metal accessories when washing by hand or by dry-cleaning.
- If professional dry cleaning is permitted, please proceed with a trusted dry cleaner.
